We're on the hunt for an experienced senior Accounts Payable Administrator to manage the end to end processing of our NZ domestic payables. Based in our Auckland office, you will be reporting to the Shared Services Manager. This is a great opportunity for you to work within a larger finance team, managing a high-volume accounts payable ledger.

This role will also be responsible for:

  • Ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices
  • Manage personal and generic email inboxes
  • Processing of company credit card expenses and reimbursements which includes the Executive Management team
  • Monthly supplier reconciliations
  • Ability to manage high volume processing
  • Proactively investigating variances and providing solutions
  • Forecasting cash flow and processing of weekly payment runs
  • Month end reporting
  • Managing monthly automatic payment and direct debit authorities
  • Assisting as and when required within the Shared Services team
  • Involvement with ad hoc accounting projects

We're looking for someone who has proven Accounts Payable experience with the ability to work autonomously and independently.  Your natural ability to resolve problems in an analytical manner, coupled with your strong communication skills is essential.  Your high attention to detail will ensure your success meeting tight deadlines. Relevant experience within payables in a wholesale and retail environment is advantageous, as is experience using JD Edwards accounting system.

This is a high-volume paper processing role, you will need to be highly organised, structured and be able to multi task. You must be able to identify priorities and act on them in a timely manner.
