Bendon is evolving to meet our global supply chain requirements and we are now on the hunt for a Logistics Coordinator to work within our Logistics and Distribution department based in Mangere. Our logistics team are the pulse of the business ensuring on time delivery in full of stock primarily shipped within Australia and New Zealand.
As a Logistics Coordinator you will support our global internal and external stakeholders ensuring a smooth process of end to end order management. Working in a fast paced operational environment you will need to keep your finger on the pulse and juggle a variety of duties including:
- End to end management of orders including order processing and scheduling ensuring on time delivery
- Working closely with the Distribution Centres in NZ and at times 3PLs ensuring accurate order picking and delivery on time
- Liaising and following up with sales, retail and demand and supply teams on customer needs, orders and deliveries
- Working closely with the Australian based customer service team on freighting issues and customer queries
- Liaising and following up with freight forwarders and couriers
You will ideally be in a logistics customer service role with exposure to order management processes and international freight. You will have to be a strong team player with the ability to work towards tight deadlines in a fast paced changing environment. You will have to wear many hats with both internal and external stakeholders and your effective communication skills will ensure we continue to provide a high level of customer service. You must have up to intermediate excel and outlook skills and experience in JD Edwards or a similar ERP System would be beneficial.
